We believe in local manufacturing as it is more cost effective than imports and we want to showcase the talent that we have in South Africa. Local manufacturing also allows us to be more agile and makes it easier for us to adapt. Our team has more than 20 years of experience in the South African furniture industry and we understand the South African market.
We also have our own factory where we are in complete control over our manufacturing process and our product quality.

Material Selection:

Furniture Spaces prides itself on sourcing high-quality, sustainable materials that not only enhance the beauty of our creations but also contribute to a greener planet. From responsibly harvested wood to eco-friendly finishes.
Our products are manufactured using high quality wood. We specialise in Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) also known as "Supawood". MDF is basically engineered wood obtained by breaking down hardwood and softwood composites. This makes it more sustainable and environmentally friendly while providing excellent quality.
For our more natural looking products, we make use of MDF Veneer Board. This is basically an MDF board with a thin layer of natural wood on its surface. This gives you a natural wood finish at the fraction of the cost and in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
